Hello listers Can someone please tell me the date on which the census was taken in 1865? My Gt. Gt. Grandfather George Barnsfather died in July 1865 but I cannot find him on the census for that year. His wife is there as Mrs. M Barnsfather, with the children. In GB our census is taken in the spring. Thank you for any assistance. Sheila.
