Regarding the Find-A-Grave discussion, I'm not sure whose property a headstone or monument is once installed on a grave or plot. However, it would seem these loving tributes to the dead are placed partially with the intention of letting future generations know that these people once walked among us...that they are not forgotten. Furthermore, cemeteries are open to the public so privacy rights would seem forfeit. I've never been able to rationalize the stand of Dignity Memorial cemeteries, which do not allow photographs to be taken. It's not like you're stealing the soul of the dead, and I don't buy into the identify theft argument...the 'bad guys' don't need cemeteries for that. Well, anyway, that's my two cents worth on the subject. Ruth "The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living." - Cicero
