The Wheaton Library [DuPage Co] has a large geneology section. Unfortunately, the Wheaton Library is closed for several months while they move into their new library. The reference section may be available by phone. Wheaton also has an active historical society. I live in Winfield Township, but don't know that much about local history. You could try the Winfield Library. They are small, but very helpful. They might be able to look up DuPage Highlands. dolores
