Info 256-5700. 1993-06-12 Herbert Hertzberg, 73, a retired lieutenant colonel in the Air Force, died Thursday in Whitehall North convalescent home, Deerfield. Mr. Hertzberg, who lived in Skokie, served in both World War II and the Korean War with the Army Air Force and later the Air Force. He served 12 years in the Air Force reserves stationed at the military side of O'Hare International Airport. He also was a manufacturer's representative for textile mills selling cloth to manufacturers of clothing and home furnishings. Raised in Albany Park, Mr. Hertzberg is survived by his wife, Anita; his son, Stuart; his daughter, Joan; two grandchildren; and a brother.
