Dear Listers In 1852, my gggg aunt, husband and three children sailed from Liverpool on the Western World ship and arrived in New York on 30th August 1852. On the ship's manifest it stated that their destination was Canada. However, it would appear they settled in Cook County. Their names were : Susannah Duddles b.1823 Anthony Duddles - husband - b.1822 Mary Ann Duddles - daughter - b.1844 William Duddles -son - b 1848 Edward Appleyard Duddles - son- b.1850 I wonder if some kind soul on your list could please see if they appear on the Census Returns e.g.1860,1870 and 1880.
