I also am interested in marriage applications. If someone where to marry with a Justice of the Peace, would there be a marriage application involved? I can't find a marriage certificate for my grandparents who were married about 1920. I'm beginning to think that maybe they got married with a Justice of the Peace because I found out that those documents aren't kept after a time.
