AHHHH what a place!!! Riverview Park!! In 1960 I was 12 years old. We would go with one of the moms on the block that was off in the summer. Usually on the CTA bus. I always liked the Cannon Ball, Parachute Ride and the Freek Show (I am sure there is a more politicly correct name for it now). That always gave me goose bumps!!! When did it close its doors?
