Hello Listers, I am trying to find the geographic location of an 1880 Census address..242 Rebecca Street (the census sheet also has 15th street written in the margin and is in Enumeration District 78. I GOOGLED the addresses on Willow and Rebecca, to see if I could find out the proximity of 59 Willow Street (this was the numbering in 1880..believe the Enumeration District was 177.. to 242 Rebecca Street(also 1880 address), hoping that both were in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. However, the directions took me 30 miles south of Lincoln Park..and I am hoping that it is my error and Rebecca is in the Lincoln Park area..perhaps just renamed?? Since GOOGLE routes current address loctions, I am at a loss as to how to establish the proximity of one street to another. I don't know how to access which Enumeration Districts were where in any given area..Any hints?? The Willow Street address currently is 713, as a result of the renumbering that took place in 1900(?)..or thereabouts.. Any help appreciated.. Happy Holidays to all..     3. I find Rebecca renamed 15th Place (1/2 block S of 15th Street). This would be about 4 miles S of the Lincoln Park area.
