I found one of my families on the Mecklenburg-Scherin 1867 Census and there is a couple of columns that I can not figure out. I have saved it as a jpg, so could attach and send to anybody who might be able to translate it. Thanks, Sharon
HI Sharon, Is it the handwriting or can you make out the words but not understand them? My son, who took 4 yrs of German but now lives across state, showed me a website that helped me tremendously. I don't speak German either and was trying to communicate with a man over there who spoke no English. It's a little sketchy but we've been doing OK and getting the "gist" of each other's emails.
