Hi, You are all so helpful, I hope you can assist me. I have the original deed from 1925 to a family cemetery plot in Hillside, Illinois. No one in our family will ever use it, so I'd like to donate it. When I called the cemetery, they told me I would have to go through an involved legal process to donate it. If it is as difficult as they say, that plot will remain empty forever. Does anyone have any suggestions/comments/ knowledge about donating this plot to someone who could use it? thanks a bunch, Anne
