I think I know the answer to this question, but a cousin asked me to pose it anyway. From the Ellis Island site he learned that a relative of ours came over on the Lusitania (two weeks before the Germans sank it!) and on arrival gave her village, her father's surname, and her age. Since the surname is very common in that village, he needs to know her father's first name or her exact date of birth to figure out which branch of the family she came from. Is it likely she gave more information that's simply not posted on the site, and if so, where might he find it? Thanks for any help! Diane
