When I was a teen in the 70's, we lived in an old house with no shower so Mom and I would use the utility sink in the laundry room to wash our hair. My Mom, born and raised in Chicago and now living with us in Oregon, still washes her hair in the sink even though she has a shower and a separate tub...she loves to tell stories about her Bobcka (grandmother) who had a lovely old cookstove with a hot water reservoir in back. Bonnie in Oregon
I see, more and more, that I'm not alone! Believe me, I've *tried* washing my hair while in the shower and I just hate it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Williams" <rbjb2@prinetime.net> To: <cook-co-il@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, February 08, 2007 4:58 AM Subject: [COOK-CO-IL] Hot water > When I was a teen in the 70's, we lived in an old house with no shower > so Mom and I would use the utility sink in the laundry room to wash our > hair.
