    3. Wayne et al, I might have to unsub from the list for a short time, a family medical emergency. I will be back soon I hope, I like the list and the talk I see. Thanks for the Sandstrom obit! I think Viggo will find this one interesting. I forwarded the obit on Louis S. Brown that Marianne sent to Viggo and sent Viggo's reply off list. I will add it here and recap the research when I hear more. Regards Al from Viggo-- I wonder if the OVERSAT name has it's origin at the ØVRESET farm in Breim local parish, Gloppen (Nordfjord), S&F. In the Gloppen Bygdebok Vol.5 I find there were several who emigrated from there, and I'll see (out of curiousity) if there is a connection. I'm about to photograph the Gloppen BB Series (6 volumes). Well, I could not resist. I checked and YES, the name came from Gloppen, Nordfjord. Jakob Jensson ØVRESET b1857 emigrated in 1877, was married and he ran a funeral home in Chicago. Which fits : in 1920 Jacob OVRESAT's occupation is as embalmer, his wife is Maria b ca1868 and they have children Theodora, Raymond, Magdalene (Mrs. Lars JOHANSEN) and Jennie (Mrs. Walter SCHATY) living with them at that time.
