I specifically need name of restaurant very popular in mid-50's In northern Morton Grove area (not Hackney's on Harms) that served Open-faced broiled cheese sandwiches with bacon and fresh tomato slices Under the cheese. My sister and her husband are celebrating their 50th Anniversary this Summer and none of us can think of the name of this roadhouse/restaurant. Can anyone who has been around a while help?
