Thank you so much, Robin. When I clicked on the document URL links you sent, it took me to a log on screen for ProQuest. I don't have access and my poor little local library doesn't subscribe. I drove 100 miles to the Palm Spring Library several months ago and I have acess to Heritage Quest from my home through a card I got from them but it doesn't have newspaper articles. (It offers census records, Books, PERSI, Revolutionary War records and Freedman's Bank.) I have been blessed in finding books related to a couple of my surnames.
