I sure remember that storm. I was a senior at Lyons Township High School - which was closed for the first time EVER. My grandparents as well as my parents all went to that high school and none of them ever enjoyed a "snow day". As a kid, it was an exciting storm. I'll have to ask my mother and older sister what they remember about the storm.
