    3. I was sent an article from the Chicago Daily Tribune dated Dec. 14 1940 about a Chicago street map my gr grandfather lithographed in 1878. This might be a daily article? " A Line O' Type or Two". In this article named "Map of Chicago, 1878" was a note of a Line's Reference library. Anyone know of this Line/Line's reference library? I asked the Newberry Library about this today in a phone call on another map issue and it's still an unknown. A short quote from the article-- "We have been cracking our eyeballs over a map of Chicago in 1878, contributed to the Line's reference library by Harry B. Roads of Terra Haute, Ind. It was published in street guide form by A. Askevold, room 67 Ashland block, northeast corner Clark and Randolph streets" I would like to find this map. The only clue is this one old article. Al Askevold

    3. "A Line o' Type Or Two" was a long running column in the Trib. Have you checked with the Tribune?
