My grandfather, Francis "Frank" W. Adams disappeared in Chicago shortly after my grandmother died at Cook County Hospital in March 1922. They were married in Detroit, and both appeared in Detroit in the 1920 U.S. Census. Frank W. Adams was a machinist. In Chicago in 1922 they lived at 3030 W. Madison. I have not been able to locate any records for my grandfather in Chicago. But I have found these POSSIBLE references. 1923 Chicago City Directory Adams, Frank machinist h 2231 N Robey Adams, Frank assembler h 5350 Madison 1928 Chicago City Directory Adams, Frank mach opr r 5032 W Madison Adams, Frank M chauf h 5104 W Madison Adams, Frank W traffic mgr r 3016 George 1931 Chicago Telephone Directory Adams, Frank r 4329 W Madison 1932 Chicago Telephone Directory Adams, Frank r 4329 W Madison Adams, Frank W. cfr 4171 Irving Park I do not find my Frank Adams in the 1930 U.S. Census in Chicago, although it appears he might be one of these men. I have checked all the Chicago death records from the Illinois Death Records database for Frank Adams with no success. Would anyone have any suggestions for other possible resources I could check for more information on these men? I would be grateful for any ideas. Thank you. Joseph Martin Romeoville, IL
