While, after ten years of looking, I am not ready to say my family search is completed, I do want to say thank you to these lists for all the help, suggestions, lookups, and links that you have posted over the years. The time you, listers, have taken to answer questions and do lookups that took you away from your own research and helped only mine, is a valuable gift. It had taken these ten years to find, only recently, the black sheep of the family that we 'lost' in the 1930's and, also, to find a child taken by a non-custodial parent, also in the 1930's. Both were deceased by the time I found them, but there is a completion feeling in finding out what happened to them. Thank you for your willingness and your time, spent on my behalf. Now my research will focus on putting personality to the dates and places. There will be more questions, pleas for lookups, and requests for suggestion. Your experience and advice has been invaluable. I wouldn't have been able to do it without your help. Let's keep helping one another, so others can feel this sense of satisfaction that I feel about filling in hole in my personal history.
