    1. Re: [COOK-CO-IL] looking for Schmidt-Haus-Frohlich connection 1902-1903-1905
    2. Hi Robin, I found a WWI Draft Regis for Ferdinand Haus, living at 10124 Indiana Ave in Chicago with wife Carolina. He was a Car Repairer for the Pullman Co in Chicago. His age is 38 on Sapt 12, 1918 and his birthdate is given as Jan 5, 1880, bp Austria., medium height & build, brown eyes, black hair. I went to the Ellis Island site and looked at the records for the following and may have found another clue to the relationships. Peter Frohlich, age 34, arr May 22, 1902 from Bremen on "The Cassel", married, Galicy, German, last res Mowy, Sacz, going to ? 201 Union Street Chicago. On the ship "Finland" arr May 19, 1903 from Antwerp, are 3 people of interest who mention going to Peter Frohlich's at 192 Union Street in Chicago. line 4 is Ferdinand Haus, 23 yr 8 mo, single, going to cousin Peter Frohlich, 192 Union, Chicago Did you see lines 9 & 10? line 9 Karolina Reichert 25 yr 6 mo Galacian, German last res Zurliovice to Chicago line 10 Katarina Reichert, her sister, 23 yr, 2 mo Galacian, German going to brother-in-law Peter Frohlich, 192 Union Street, Chicago Marjaretha Schmidt, sgl, arr June 2, 1905 on "Barbarossa", from Bremen last res Zoikowice, occ maid/servant, age 27, going to ?? it looks like maybe "2 brothers in law", cousins Peter Frohlich and Ferdinand Haus & her sister, at 52 Gardiner Street Chicago. Go back to Ellis Island and see what you think. I'll let you know if I find any more. When Marjaretha married, who was her spouse? That may help. Karen in Oklahoma
