Cheers, Masugu DARLENE SANDBERG Journal Star (Peoria, IL) April 11, 1994 KEWANEE -- Darlene F. Sandberg, 72, of 1031 Roseview died Saturday, April 9, 1994, in the emergency room at Kewanee Hospital. Born Aug. 27, 1921, in Camp Point to Jesse and Ella Andris Haver, she married Charles McCullough on March 24, 1949, in Kewanee. He died in 1952. She later married Kenneth Sandberg on Aug. 31, 1957, in Chicago. He died in March 1978. One infant daughter also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Dennis C. McCullough of Green Bay, Wis., and Bruce J. McCullough of Bloomingdale; one brother, Jack Haver of Olmsted Township, Ohio; and five grandchildren. A graduate of St. Francis School, she was an X-ray technician. She was head of X-ray at Kewanee Hospital. She then worked in the X-ray department at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She later retired from Kewanee Hospital in 1983. She was a member of Kewanee First United Methodist Church, Kewanee Hospital Auxiliary, Kewanee Library Volunteers and Kewanee Senior Citizens. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cavanagh & Schueneman Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry Prince will officiate. Visitation will be two and a half hours before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to her church. A resident of Wildwood for many years, Mr. Thul was a member of the Ceramic Tile Setters Union for more than 40 years and a member of the Lake County Bowling Association.
