Hi Amy; I found a lot of stuff in the Trib archives on your family--I sent a number of articles to your e-mail address. In addition here are some relevant obits. Cheers, Masugu P.S. Some of the collateral surnames noted in the obits, such as Sauer and Lemke, also married into some of my family lines, Jaacks, Boetger, Kruse, et al. These families originated in Schleswig-Holstein, in Germany and Denmark, and in the 19th Century, settled in and to the W.N.W. of Chicago--Jefferson Park, Niles, Maine Twp., DesPlaines, Forest park, et al.
