    2. Hi Dara, I've only been on this list a short while and have found it to be very informative. Have you looked at the Illinois State Archives Database at: http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/archives/databases.html ? In the pre-1916 death index, I found the following: Lehner, Christophe 12/10/1899 Chicago 56 yr #00011164 Cook Also, the Marriage Index lists a Lehner, John marrying a Leow, Bertha on 9/24/1882.
