Could someone give me some ideas of how to find information on someone who lived in Chicago? I am trying to find information on Wilbur Edward WEAVER. In the 1920 census he was living in PA where he was born. In the 1930 census, the closest match I found was an Edward and Louise Weaver in Chicago, 49 Ward and he was 27 years old and was married at the age of 24. I know that Wilbur E. had 2 children in Chicago whose names I don't know and I don't know when they were born. I know that Wilbur E. was still alive in 1961 and living in Chicago. I thought of trying to find his obit, but from what I understand, there isn't an obit index in the newspapers for the time after 1961. Also, I've been told there isn't a state or city death index for after 1961. Is there a way to find marriage information where I could find out if this Edward and Louise are the right couple? From the census, I can see they married around 1927. I would like to find when Wilbur E. Weaver died, when and who he married, and information on his children.
