Could anyone tell me where the "Otto Alt Undertaker" business could be located? I have an old snapshot probably early 1900's. It is of the undertaker's building; a 3 story brick building with what looks like possible apartments upstairs. The house number is 2838 but no street name is shown. On the side of the building is painted "OTTO ALT UNDERTAKER CHAPEL CARRIAGES". Below that is "Seidenberg & Co's. Cubanola hand made cigars, 5 cents Reid, Murdoch & Co. Distributors" There is an empty lot next to the building with a for sale sign from "Edmund S. Graf". The building may be on a corner because there is no building on the other side either. The street is brick with a street car rail running down it. I know this sounds like every street in the Chicago area but that's all I have to go on. It could be in the South Chicago, Morgan Park or Washington Heights areas. Thanks, Marge in MI
