    1. [COOK-CO-IL] Aragon Ballroom
    2. Are there any big band fans who might know where I could find out what bands were playing at the Aragon in November and December of 1932? Margaret

    3. Hi Margaret - I'm going to email you an article from proquest on the bands who were playing at the Aragon for New Years Eve. Prior to that, it looks like the main band was Wayne King's Orchestra. These concerts, or parts of them seem to have been broadcast on WGN radio. Another one that was mentioned was Bernie Cummin's Orchestra. During November, the last week of the Chicago Tribune's School of Cookery was held at the Aragon. The articles mentioned entertainment, but it was things like a magician, dancing, "community sing" and an opera singer. Hope this helps some.
