Hey listers, I came across another couple of branches tonight and thought I would throw the names out and see if I get any bites. I am currently searching for the descendents of John P. Kommer b Apr 1882. I believe his parents were Peter b 1854 and Charlotte b 1856. It looks like they both came here in 1887 with 2 of the 5 kids. He had 4 sisters, Annie, Gert, Christine and Margaret. In the research I have done so far it looks like Anne married Harold Van Valkenburg, Gert married Leo Miller, Chrisrine married into the Molitor family and Margaret married into the Lerner family. John P Kommer married Margaret Schmitz. Margaret would be my Great Grand Aunt, as you see the connection. In the obit for Margaret Kommer nee Schmitz, her and John had 2 childern, Margaret and Charlotte. Margaret married Cornelius Van Dyke and am not sure if Charlotte married.
