No one mentioned Garfield Goose. Even as an adult I often think of him and Frasier Thomas. Even as a child I was always amazed at the range of emotion the puppeteer could show with a puppet with non-moving parts. Sharon ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

Does anybody remember Super Circus - a kids program that may have been on daily. I went to school with one of the clowns - I think on the show his name was Skampy - in real life he was Alexander Dobrich. Many of the performers from the show lived in a trailer park within the boundaries of my Park Ridge school district. I think one of the other performers was Mary Hartline. I grew up in the Chicago area, and my husband spent his summers there as a child. When we met, both of us far from home, we had an instant connection from sharing memories about the goose who thinks he's king of the United States. And what about the wonderful serials Thomas ran, such as "Journey to the Beginning of Time"? I also recall a short subject about a railroad journey with bittersweet harmonica accompaniment.
