I've "rescued" an old photograph of Walter RANG which was taken at the S. A. Rivkin Studio in Chicago, Illinois. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with Walter likely in his teens at the time it was taken. In addition to his name, someone has written "Christmas Entertainment" on the back of the photograph. Walter is in costume in the photograph so I'm guessing that he was in a Christmas play or pageant, the reason for the additional comment.
