Dear Listers, 1. I googled an address, 1423 W. Van Buren Street, and see that all that's there now is the Eishenower Expressway. Is there anyone on the list that knows what businesses were there in the 1930's? A step-grandfather of mine committed suicide at that location in on May 11, 1932. It was not the address of his residence. 2. I also would appreciate a lookup to see if there was a newspaper article about his suicide. His name was Per (Peter) A. Johnson. . Thanks, Daryl Ann
