Has anyone had any luck getting one of these lately? My understanding is that they are understaffed and files from years ago for genealogists are not a priority. I went toe-to-toe with the Medical Examiner's Office about five years ago, to no avail whatsoever. It's like every written communication fell into a black hole. Promises over the phone never kept. Calls never returned. Maybe things have changed. Let us know if you have any better luck.
