Thomas, I spoke with the reference librarian at CPL - Harold Washington.....online databases are in the process of a contract renewal and can sometimes prevent access until contracts finalized. She walked me through and I finally gained access to the Trib archives. However, no info Abraham Van Page that I could find, but I'm far from an expert Tribune researcher and could still use some help. Thanks! My home computer kept trying to connect to each database but it could not connect to any of the three databases. For each database that I tried to access I would see information that Internet Explorer was trying to connect. Then it was being redirected. The there would be a message about connecting manually. IE kept running through these three or four messages in a loop. I think there must be something wrong with the servers at CPL. Thomas Mackowiak
