Sounds like the same girl I had! Lucky for you that you live in the area. It's too bad it took your stat rep. to get it! I live in CA now so I don't know what people out of state can do. I, too, have been trying without success for many years to get 2 different records. It sounds like the key to getting quick response to requests for coroner's reports is to get the Medical Examiner's office to turn over more recent records to the IRAD. Does anyone know how to make this happen? Does the IRAD have to request them or does the Medical Examiner's office have to initiate the move? I would think the Medical Examiner would be all for it to help reduce their workload. Even if records have to be older than 75 years that would at least get us up to 1935 instead of 1911! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jackye Sullins" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, April 02, 2010 11:17 AM Subject: Re: [COOK-CO-IL] Coroner's Report > Sounds like the same girl I had!
