I just found Frank NIESEN (Father of Frank L (shorty) NIESEN)s parents they are Frank NIESEN and Eva NIESEN .......not her maiden name I would think. Just don't have more information than that. So THESE are probably in Germany, and i don't think there would be any way of tracing them to any particular city. So now I need the middle, Frank NIESEN and Frances BYER's children and then HIS Siblings, if possible. I do know Eulalia was born in Chicago, for sure, (one daughter of theirs) so if you see her anywhere in Chicago census, then that would be the family. Eulalia my grandmother was born in 1897 JOhn Dvorak ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: "Cook IL Rootsweb County" <[email protected]> Cc: "Cook IL Rootsweb County" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, April 27, 2010 1:56:52 PM GMT -05:00 US/Canada Eastern Subject: Re: [COOK-CO-IL] NIESEN, FRANK L I messed up, everybody, the surname of Frances/Francis, my great great grandmother was BYER, not BAYER. I believe the NIESEN family were in LaPOrte, Indiana when grandma was but 3 years of age. So I guess she wouldn't be located in the census so I could be sure which NIESEN family was mine in Chicago. I will still have to locate who Frank L NIESEN's siblings were. By the way, I was taking this one census record stating that Franks' father, Frank NIESEN was a vinegar manufacturer, was my family. But I never KNEW my grandma's grandparents, so I really dont' know if he made vinegar or not.
