    3. Hi to all listers, A relation of mine was born in Illinois in 1917, a Harley Edsworth CANNON, and enlisted into the Air Force with the Hells Angels, the 303rd Bomber Group, and flew 31 missions as 2Lt., with Lt. Poole as skipper. My question is this, are there any Air Force records available on-line, as my searches through Ancestry don't show any? Any assistance in my query would be appreciated, Hope you all had a safe and happy Easter. Trevor Griffiths in Australind, West Australia.

    3. Trevor, I believe that the time frame you are interested in would be under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Army. Don't think that the U.S. Air Force came into existence until after WWII. Prior to that I think it was called the Army Air Corps. I could be wrong though.
