Hi Cooksters, Please help!!  Have been trying unsuccessfully to access the Chicago Tribune Archives online at the Harold Washington Library.  A message tells me this is no longer available........surely this can't be!! I am trying to determine the name of the Chicago church Rev. Abraham Van Pierce was associated with in approximately 1911.  The church location could be 1901 S. Lawndale Ave. Thanks for any help! Judie, I tried logging on to the Chicago Tribune Historical Archives, the Chicago Tribune Archives from 1985 to the present, and the Sun-Times/Southtown links at the Chicago Public Library. My home computer kept trying to connect to each database but it could not connect to any of the three databases. For each database that I tried to access I would see information that Internet Explorer was trying to connect. Then it was being redirected. The there would be a message about connecting manually. IE kept running through these three or four messages in a loop. I think there must be something wrong with the servers at CPL.
