    3. Hello, This is my research. Is there anyone interested in the Zaremba family of Chicago? I would like to try to find more information. ANTON B.1 ZAREMBA was born Abt. 1816 in Prussia, and died Bef. January 10, 1891 in 2430 La Salle st, Chicago, Cook, IL. He married MAGDELINA LAFERSKI. Zaremba, laborer, 38 yrs old, male, arrived NYC 5-7-1852 ADONIS from Liverpool. origin: Germany Major Anton B. Zaremba. (Born about 1816) His death appeared in the newspaper Chicago Herald 1-10-1891, stated he was Major Anton B. Zaremba, on of the best known Polish citizens of Chicago. Dies at his residence 2430 La Salle st, Chicago. Title of the article was "Romantic and Varied Life". Stated he was 75 yrs. 8-17-1874: InterOcean newspaper, IL: "Tribute to late Bishop Whitehouse". B. Zaremba is listed, as a Civil War Veteran, states he was buried in Calvary Cemetery, Chicago. More About ANTON B.
