You might try the offices of the Northern Illinois District (~diocese). Hillside, IL Missouri Synod: http://www.lcms.org/ Northern Ill District: https://ni.lcms.org/Index.asp?PageID= Depending on which church it is and if the church is still standing, you might be able to contact the Pastor and arrange time for a record search.
