Has anyone used Polish researcher Adam Jedryka within the last year? If so, how has communication and delivery of results gone? Ruth
Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the Dreamland Roller Club and/or B L of E. I just found some pins that were in the possession of my great-grandfather when he died in 1946, with these clubs or society names on them. He died in Alabama at the age of 86, but he had lived in Chicago and Wisconsin. He had worked for the CNW railroad, but I wondered if B L of E was another railroad line. The first one says: Past C E Division 4-04 B L of E (the B L of E is on what look like a flower The second one is a white round letter with the letters B L of E (the B is in gold, the L is in white and the E is blue The third pin is round with a white center and a blue edge. The blue edge has gold letters that say Dreamland Roller Club Chicago In the center in gold is a picture of a roller skate with wings and the letters D R C I would guess this last pin has something to do with roller skating. The only information I found regarding Dreamland Roller CLub had to doe with Dance and Roller Skating Clubs. Thanks, Kathy
