Those wishing to obtain data on C&NW employees can make an e-mail ([email protected]) or a postal mail (Craig Pfannkuche, 8612 Memory Trail, Wonder Lake, Illinois 60097) request. Stamped, self addressed reply envelopes are appreciated since the collection is maintained by Society dues and donations and is staffed by volunteers. Look ups are done "as time allows". There is no charge for doing personnel look up work." Craig is an excellent source for RR information. I wrote to him some years ago and he kindly checked his records for my C&NW ancestor. The BLE doesn't have old records. However, I have purchased a couple of old BLE journals that had my great grandfather's name, as he was secretary of one of the chapters on Milwaukee Ave. Bart
