Hi All, Success! Thank you Sharon, Judy & Cynthia! Thank you all for helping me. I'm sure this is the family! The English pronunciation of Kowalczyk is, phonetically, Kovalcheck. Then we don't know exactly who gave the info - did they have a cold? a lisp? all their teeth? Was the enumerator used to Polish words & pronunciation? Kovagec is close enough for me! The wife, & 2 kids' names & birth dates are on the money. I wasn't going to muddy the waters by mentioning the name of the 3rd child, Stefania, born in 1920. I wasn't sure if they capture her on the census. But her info is correct too. I knew the address was right. I do see that the ED was 2046. The census taker's name was Kathryn Eger (German? English?) I always take this into consideration. Thank you, thank you, thank you. It was driving me nuts! You've put me out of my misery. :) I should have posed my question to the group days ago, but I was SO trying to find this myself. Silly me :) Take care, Bobbi McCaffrey > From: sjlbuethner-sheminee@att.net > This looks probably that it is them ---- > 1920 United States Federal Census > about George Kosagec Name: George Kosagec > [George Kovagec] > [George Kovazec] > Home in 1920: Chicago Ward 33, Cook (Chicago), Illinois [2544 N.
