I would appreciate someone looking up an obituary for Robert McCarthy.  He died 24 Aug 1931 at the age of 33. He was married to Nettie Banach-McCarthy and had one daughter. I was told he was a Police Officer for the County Highway and that he was killed in a motorcycle accident in Des Plaines. I'm not sure if his death was related to his work.
