    1. Re: [COOK-CO-IL] Finding family in the 1920 Census
    2. Kathy Rust
    3. OK, I kept looking for my dad's family in the 1930 census for years. Finally, I used a new strategy. I had looked in the neighborhood around my mother's address with no luck. So, I expanded to the neighborhoods around 2 aunts, who, like my mother, had married into dad's family. I knew they all lived relatively close. While I had no luck with the first aunt, dad's folks were ON THE SAME PAGE with the 2nd aunt. Very excited. The family name was Nielsen and they were indexed under Milson. Try every which way you can; likely they are there.
