Hello Bobbi, I have several missing families in different censuses in various states. Some people were just missed; some people were traveling; the enumerators forgot to go back to houses where no one answered the door; enumerators might have missed a street. Also some pages could have been lost over the years; the microfilms might have been made with incomplete pages. I believe that some people are missing from every census.
