It has been brought to my attention just this morning that invitations may have been inadvertantly sent out to everyone in my address book from LinkedIn. Unfortunately, that would probably include some lists and message boards that I belong to. If that is the case and you are receiving emails from my address, they are NOT spam in the true sense of the word. I really do not know how to 'un-do' the invitations once they've been sent. You may have to click on them and 'decline' the invitation. Hopefully, that will stop them from repeatedly sending these out. I don't want to be dropped from your list!
