    1. [COOK-CO-IL] Kew
    2. Can anyone on the list find information on the Kew family? I went to school with Edith Kew and am trying to find her. She was born about 1939-40. I've tried family obituaries but it's like she fell off the planet along with her family. I'm sure there must be something on her family but my resources have not found anything. Would appreciate anything the list can find.... Thanking you in advance! Patti Meyers Westmont, IL ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

    1. [COOK-CO-IL] Oscar JENSEN Marriage abt 1905
    2. Bruce & Laurie
    3. I am hoping if someone goes to the Naperville FHL (Or elsewhere) could see if they could find the marriage of Oscar A. Jensen born Feb 1882 Norway, died 8 Jan 1909 Chicago. He married a "Minnie" about 1905 and had one son Donald Jensen Sr. born about 1906 Chicago. IN the 1930 census Minnie Grarke is listed with her son Donald and his wife Lorraine, last name enumerated as Jansen, she may have remarried and became widowed again. There is also a thought that Minnie's maiden name was Krause, but not confirmed. Any help is greatly appreciated. Laurie

    1. [COOK-CO-IL] MILLER Family Photographs
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" two old photographs belonging to the MILLER Family. The first is identified as Dana MILLER and was taken at the Robinson and Roe Studio in Chicago, Illinois. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Dana likely in his 20's at the time it was taken. The second photograph is identified as "Grandpo MILLER" and has not identified studio or location. This second photograph was probably taken in the 1890's as well with the man in the photograph likely in his 60's or 70's at the time. The photographs were recovered along with others belonging to the WEISE Family of Cincinnati, OH though I have no idea what the connection might be. I'm hoping to locate someone from this MILLER Family so that these wonderful old photographs can be returned to their rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

    2. Bart Thanks for your reply. I do subscribe to the Sweden mailing list on Rootsweb. Also, I currently subscribe to Genline (fee based). The reason for my original request is that I thought that someone might have already worked on the Jonas Albert Sundin family and might have some help for me. I did receive info from the Sweden list on which I also sent the same request. Also, I was sent the obit for John Albert Sundin (eventually he changed his first name after being in this country). I still working with the all info I received to find the connection with my family. Again thanks for your time. You may find someone on that list to do look-ups, much as is done here. The on-line Swedish parish records do involve both a cost and a foreign language. :-) Bart
