    3. Thank you very much for taking the time to check for me. Unfortunately, these are not the Kenneth Sandberg I was hoping for. Chances are, there was no family in the area at the time of his death. My brother and I are about the last of a dying branch. Lois > Hi Lois; > > There doesn't appear to be an obit for kenneth. 3. In a 1946 obituary it was the Gethsemane Evangelical church, 3617 Belle Plaine Avenue, residence of the pastor. Also referenced as "Gethsemane Evangelical church, Belle Plaine and Monticello" Avenues. In 1958, "Gethsemane Ev. and Ref. church, 3617 Belle Plaine" Avenue." In 1966 - 1980, it was called Gethsemane United Church of Christ. You can also use google.com to search. *http://tinyurl.com/yobs7d* Here it is today if you would like to check for records: Gethsemane Evangelical Church of United Church of Christ 3617 W. 3. In 4/1891 it was Calumet High School located at 81st and Normal the High school was located on the second floor of the Auburn Park Grammar School in 1933 Calumet moved to 81st and May a mile away. When I was at Calumet in th 60's Westcott Vocational High School was still located at 81st and Normal. That high school later changed it's name and became Simeon Career Academy High School in 1964.It moved to the old Kroger Bakery on 8235 South Vincennes Avenue September of 2003. It e converted back to a grammar school and renamed it Westcott it's address is 409 W 80TH ST. I hope this helps. I got most of the information from my Calumet HS year book it was the 75th anniversary so they had the history and the Chicago board of education website. Alice Fluegge
