Hi I am new to the list. I am researching the descendants of George Cook and Rebecca Buchanan crofters in Ireland (Surelysomewhere) at the end of C18. A few generations later ( I could talk heaps about this), Andy Cook was in the Anzac. He seems to have survived WW1 as I did not find him on the microfilm of dead soldiers of the Anzac at Kew PRO. I do not know how to "read" a uniform to trace him from the photo. I can tell a lot about the Cook family. Andy would be our 3rd cousin. He was from Brisbane. There was a shipping connection.
