I hope I am getting this to the right address this time. I am researching John Cook born in NC. In 1850 he was in Madison County, AR. Bowen TWP 43 years of age, with wife Jane or June 35 yrs. born in TN. I have more info that says that Jane's maiden name was Williams, five of their children were born in TN, they must have left TN after 1841 their youngest child born in TN, Catherine is 9 years old in the 1850 census in M/C, AR. At this time they have four more children born in AR. I am not really sure of my connection to this family as there seems to be some confusion as to William "Bill" Cook's age I find in this census he was born 1849 and in other info that I have he was born in 1844. His grave marker says 1844 to 1899 and is located in the Upper Campground Cemetery in Madison County, AR. Can anyone help me with this. William "Bill" Cook was my gg-grandfather.
