I have two ladies. We have been visiting over tea lately, trying to find out if they are related in some way. Sarah COOK married John GWALTNEY who was b about 1741 in VA, died before 1827 in Iredell Co NC Some say Sarah was the sister of Richard COOK who lived close to John in Iredell Co. Some say Sarah was too young to be the mother of Nathan GAULTNEY/GWALTNEY born 1792 to John. Some say Sarah was the mother of Nathan. Nathan was my gggrandfather. (My dad didn't marry until he was 45 so we skip a generation....I'm not as old as the above makes me seem!) Lucy COOK married Thomas CLANTON who was born in Va (some say 1736, some say 1722) died in Surry Co NC in 1793. Some say they married around 1747 and that Lucy died 1810. Their daughter, named Mary Martha 'Patsy' CLANTON {{she says please don't confuse with the other Martha 'Patsy' relatives}}, married Howell BARKER,Sr. who died in Iredell Co NC in 1847 Patsy and Howell were my gggrandparents. They lived in the same area as John GWALTNEY and Richard COOK. Would't it be exquisitely delicious to present Sarah and Lucy with their parents?. Especially if they were related to each other?
